Location organising

 With the location, we have decided that we are going to have it in a school boarding house. The interior can be made to look dark and mysterious and since there are so many rooms it could make the process of her searching the house very tense. This is Beatrice Webb boarding house and inside one of the other boarding houses at school which could work very well for our scene. 

The stairs would be ideal for the searching part of the scene as well. What we would need to do to make it look like a home, however, is get some photographs framed and put up on the walls of the victim and his family, so that it actually looks like he lives there, and that it is his family home. That can be very easily arranged as I can use the pictures I have around my house and bring them in as I will be the dead body. 

Prop organising

Mathilde – FBI Agent	Handgun so that she can shoot the murderer at the end of the scene. Here is a prop from amazon which I think will work really nicely as it has a holster as well.	Neave
Murderer - Adam	Fake knife with blood on it for the murderer so that there is a murder weapon, and so that there is that threat to the FBI agent when she runs into him. This one on amazon isn't that realistic, but I'm sure we can make it look better, or there may be better options.	Maddie
Dying Body - Bashy	Fake blood (wound) for the dying body so that it is obvious he was a victim of an attempted murder, and to show it as a really brutal murder with loads of blood.	Bashy

Just like with the costumes, we have split up the organising with one person taking on one character. I have got the dying body again and I have already purchased the fake blood so I can see it before had just in case it is not as realistic as we had hoped and we need to get another one.

Mathilde – FBI Agent	Navy Blue suit to show that she is quite high up in the FBI as she is still smart, but also doing mission work and catching murderers. Black stilettos with red bottoms to show that she is stylish and can also get her job done very well in these shoes. FBI badge to show that she is an FBI agent.	Neave
Murderer - Adam	Hiking boots because they are kind of the classic murderer, or even psychopath shoes, whilst simultaneously being very common pieces of footwear as loads of people go hiking, and so it kind of makes it seem that murderers blend in and could be anyone. Black corduroy trousers because they fit in with the blacked out look. Black, functional mountain jacket because it is very classic for a murderer. It is purely just used for function. Since these jackets are also used as adventure or outdoor jackets by normal people though, it could make it more unsettling for the audience, as these jackets are quite common.	Maddie
Dying Body - Bashy	White t-shirt and jeans because it is easier to see the blood, and therefore easier to tell that the character had been murdered brutally. Also, since the white t shirt and jeans is a very common look in general, it gives off unsuspecting connotations, and could make it more relatable for the audience.	Bashy

Since there are 3 members in our media group, and 3 characters to deal with, we have split up our organising by having one character each. Since I am in charge of the white t shirt and blue jeans, I already know that I have these two things in my wardrobe, and I don't mind getting fake blood on them. We will all have a look online for certain products that we will have to purchase, for example the FBI badge. 

My mood board

 This is my mood board for what i envision my opening title sequence looking at. I am going to look at Maddie's and Neave's mood board so that we can all get an idea of what we are truly thinking for the opening scene, and then we can move forward with one solid idea that we all like. 

Casting: organising

We have contacted our ideal cast, to check their availability and to check if they are ok with the roles they are going to play in our opening title sequence.  

My part of the storyboard

This is my contribution to the storyboard. This was the final third of the storyboard, which i was quite keen on getting to illustrate, as it was the part i was most certain on, and was also the part with the most going on. This would prove to be more of a challenge, and provided i had more time i like to think i would have done a better job. As the photos suggest, i have done shots 17-24.
